Wigley Upset With Defending

Only an own goal three minutes from time by Baggies defender Paul Robinson prevented Saints from losing at home to one of their relegation threatened opponents.

"I thought the first 30 minutes we played very well and didn't have any problems during the game," Wigley said after the 2-2 draw.

"But a couple of moments of bad defending and before you know it your half-time teamtalk has been transformed and confidence is low.

"But we kept going and we started to pass the ball well and that's the admirable quality of this group of players. At the minute we are not seen as winners but I told the players we need to be competitors.

"Credit to West Brom, they came here and worked very, very hard once they went in front and it was hard to get back in the game."
