Phillips Fined For Lehmann Incident

The incident occurred after a late challenge by Phillips on the Gunners keeper who responded by throwing the ball at The Saints striker.

Lehmann pleaded guilty to a charge of improper conduct and was later fined £10,000 by the FA.

Phillips, who requested a personal hearing, was today fined £2,000 and warned as to his future conduct.
