"It is similar to the problem which was bothering him just before the FA Cup final," physio Jim Joyce explained.
"It is not the muscle but the tendon which is slightly inflamed. We don't think it is too bad but he has come back for a scan just as a precaution.
"We are hoping that he will be fit to go on next week's tour to Sweden."
