Crystal Palace moved clear of Southampton in the Premier League standings at the weekend, but the Saints will have the chance to make amends when the two sides meet on Wednesday.
Patrick Vieira's men have been in a bit of a rut recently but came out of it in emphatic fashion, thumping Everton 3-1 with a glorious double from star loanee Conor Gallagher.
Southampton were thumped 3-0 by Arsenal in their last game and have won just three times all season, which explains their tumble into a relegation battle.

Crystal Palace team news
Joachim Andersen is back in training after overcoming a hamstring injury, but a starting spot may be too much to ask and goalscorer James Tomkins will be reluctant to give up his spot anyway.
Nathan Ferguson and James McArthur are both absent, while Ebere Eze will hope to start his first game of the season if Vieira looks to rotate his squad.

Southampton team news
The Arsenal defeat took its toll in Ralph Hasenhuttl's side as forwards Armando Broja and Adam Armstrong both limped off injured to join Che Adams on the sidelines. Expect a makeshift front line, perhaps featuring Shane Long and Theo Walcott.
Alex McCarthy, Fraser Forster and Stuart Armstrong remain out, but Mohammed Salisu and Oriol Romeu will both return from suspension for this one.

Crystal Palace vs Southampton head-to-head record
Historically, this fixture has been pretty even. The two sides exchanged victories last year, with Palace opening the season with a 1-0 victory and the Saints securing a 3-1 triumph late in the campaign.
Palace have won just three of the last ten meetings with Southampton, who have emerged victorious five times across that period.
The Eagles' last victory over Southampton at Selhurst Park came over five years ago in early December 2016, when Tomkins and a Christian Benteke double secured a 3-0 victory.
Crystal Palace vs Southampton score prediction
Southampton have been struggling for a while now and their lack of options in attack won't do them any favours here.
Palace's slump has only been marginally less painful, but they proved what they can do last time out against Everton. When the Eagles are firing on all cylinders, they're pretty tough to stop.
Vieira's men aren't all-systems-go just yet, but they'll be feeling good right now and that should be enough to steer them to all three points.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-1 Southampton
