A Man called Soo

Having reported just yesterday the problems the club seem to have with foreign players, and Strachan's issues with language barriers, it is ironic that the club are willing to take the plunge again.

Once again on the official site, the article focuses on the popularity of football in Korea and the influence Saints will have in the Korean market by having the first player to appear in the Premiership. Never mind the guy's actual ability to play footy.

At least on that level, the Korean national team's performance in the World Cup showed that they are very capable performers.

The FIFA Website had the following to say about him: "One of the most exciting young talents in Korean football today. Can play on the wing, in attack or behind the front two and has already attracted the attention of European scouts. Known as much for his outspoken nature in Korea as he is for his displays on the pitch, the former youth international scored the opener in the recent friendly against Scotland and put in an impressive performance against England."

Oh, oh. "Outspoken nature ?" With the Delgado problems set to go on for a while let's hope that we don't invite any more problems.
