Southampton reached Wembley after a comfortable second leg win over Milton Keynes Dons in the southern final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Leading 1-0 from the first leg, Saints were always in command from the moment Rickie Lambert hit his 24th goal of the season to double their overall lead.

An own goal from Dan Woodards increased their lead before Mark Randall replied.

But Adam Lallana scored his second goal in two games to secure the win in front of nearly 30,000 fans.
