Starting line-up

Kelvin Davis, goal keeper - 2: A very poor performance. Was at fault for all the goals - gave away the penalty for no reason on the first, and with the rest he could have done better, all the shots were close if not very close to him.

Christain Dailly, right back - 4: Looked out of place at right back, not his usual self. Tried to get forward but just doesn't have the pace to play full back. Caught out for the fifth goal. A strange selection from Burley indeed.

Wayne Thomas, central defence - 5: OK first half, generally poor second half, his weak clearance led to their third goal.

Andrew Davies, central defence - 6: A very solid first half, good in the air and read the game well. Second half confidence went after their second and was muscled off the ball by Sodje for their fourth.

Rudi Skacel, left back - 6: Not comfortable at left back, made an effort to get foward but with Surman lacking in form never really managed to create much down the left.

Jhon Viafara, right midfield (subbed at half-time) - 6: Another player not in his preferred position, never lacked passion or commitment but failed to give us any width. Was surprised he was taken off, there was no sign of injury.

Youssef Safri, centre midfield - 6: Passed the ball well but passes lacked penetration. Not one of his better games.

Jason Euell, centre midfield (left midfield second half) - 6: Battled well first half, but looked out of sorts on the left in the second. Could have done better with two half chances.

Andrew Surman, left midfield (right midfield second half) - 5: A shadow of the player that was called up to the England under 21's at the start of the season. Tried to link up with Skacel in the first half but didn't make much progress. Lacking confidence at the moment and it was a surprise to see him put on the right.

Marek Saganowski, centre forward (subbed half-time) - 4: No lack of effort but lacking confidence, had one half chance that he let get away from him.

Stern John, centre forward - 5: A couple of half chances but didn't manage to test the keeper, he didn't get the best service today.

Substitutes

Inigo Idiakez, centre midfield (on at half time) - 7: Tried to pull the strings when he came on, some good passing, a few good deliveries and a couple of efforts on goal. We generally looked more creative with him on the pitch. Booked within a minute of coming on.

Bradley Wright-Phillips, centre forward (on at half time) - 6: Didn't make much of an impact, no lack of running though. Looked a better partner for Stern than Saga.
