Wednesday Rumour Mill - Guardiola, McCann & Thompson

It's as if people have been spying on my Championship Manager team. Brescia's Josep Guardiola has been linked with a move to the Premiership and Southampton have been mentioned. Of course, we may have to fight of Arsenal and Chelsea, but Pep is an absolutely superb player and I would love to see him at St. Mary's. Guardiola was banned this season for failing a drugs test.

A solution to our left wing woes may be provided in the shape of Rangers Neil McCann. McCann is an excellent attacking winger whose form has dipped since his arrival at Ibrox. Could be available for £3 million

If we have to be linked with a Coventry player why not David Thompson. Strachan has to be an admirer of his style of play and with Coventry looking to unload some players the could be an ideal choice. Thompson could be our for £5 million and probably a lot less.
