Rumour Roundup

In
Jason Koumas (West Brom)
Depsite being relegated, Koumas has opted to stay with the baggies and fight for promotion next season. "Regarding the speculation surrounding me, all I can say is that I'm not looking to leave as I am under contract," said Jason.

"If another club comes in for me and Albion decide to sell me, then there is nothing that I can do about that.

"Of course, I want to play in the Premiership again after getting a taste of it - but I'll be doing it by getting Albion promoted if I can. We want to bounce straight back from Division One.''

Graeme Lee (Hartlepool)
Another rumour that has been running >yawn< from a while. "It's not definite he is leaving at the end of the season." said Hartlepool boss, Mike Newell. I could care less either way as we're covered in that position anyway.

Matthew Etherington (Tottenham)
Still more a squad player than anything else, the longer Matt hangs around with Spurs then the more he's likely to stay that way. "We've had initial discussions about a new contract and decided to delay talks until the end of the season. We will then review the situation and make a football decision based on whether Matthew feels he will get regular first-team football at Spurs or not.
"Matthew now wants to concentrate on getting into the Spurs team on a regular basis, "said Etherington's agent, Paul Martin

Would he get past Fernandes in the side though ? I doubt it.

Out
Kevin Davies
It looks as though Kevin will not be reamianing with the club, having seen his chances for first team football dry up. Strachan preferred to put Anders Svensson in behind James Beattie on Saturday and rest Ormerod, rather than give Kev a run out. With his contract due to expire in June, Kev will be looking for a new club.
