Rumours that one or both of these Polish internationals would be joining Saints have been doing the rounds for a few weeks. nothing concrete has ever emerged and Gino Gylain has said: "Nothing official has happened as yet, but there is a possibility that the players could move to England in the future. There has been no contact from any English clubs, maybe it has come from their agents."

Paulo Sousa from Panathinaikos is available for nothing. He has a great deal of European pedigree having played for Juventus and Dortmund when they won the European cup. He's trying to get into Portugal's World Cup squad and sounds like an impressive player. Wages may be an issue though and do we really need another midfielder ?

Saints impressive left back, Wayne Bridge, ahs surfaced in another link to Liverpool. On this occasion Saints have apparently turned down a £7 million bid for the England Under 21 star.
