Rumour Mill - Fadiga

This could well be the last rumour mill until Christmas, but lets hope that there are enough pre-window agreements and other ways round the window as possible to give us food for thought. I'm still peeved we didn't get in for Etherington though...
As the window descended on British footy we brought in Marcus Hall and Andrei Kanchelskis. We also just missed out on another.

Exciting Senegal winger Khalilou Fadiga was almost a Saint.Fadiga's agent, Willie McKay: "Southampton agreed the deal and personal terms had also been agreed. However, Roux wanted to keep him, which means he has to stay. The player is still looking to move to England and we will have to see what happens in January."

Saints also retain the services of Neil Moss and Kevin Davies for a few more months as no-one came in for them before the window.
