pre season tour. Saints aren’t looking to send Baird out on loan and Baird isn’t looking for

another loan deal.Royle has said "We have made no approach for Baird."

next season. Chris Baird was also rumoured to be a target, but this has been denied by Royle.

Paul Sturrock said: "Jo Tessem is in a situation that in the last few years he has played

very little football," Sturrock told The Daily Echo.

"Jo and I have had a conversation about it.

"It is important at his age that he plays in someone's first team.

Paper talk has linked record Saints signing Delap with a move to the Baggies. Saints are

bound to want a decent fee for Delap so I can't see this one happening.

Sturrock seems quite keen on using Delap at the moment as well making it even more unlikely.
