Wigley: A Bitter Pill To Swallow

Saints were 2-1 up against the Title holders but Robin Van Persie's last minute equaliser denied Wigley his first league win since taking on the managers job at St Mary's.

"I'd have taken a point before the game, but when we were leading with 15 seconds to go, it was a bitter pill to swallow," he said after the 2-2 draw.

"We should have won and it feels like we've lost. But we've got to take positives from that performance.

"My players were really motivated by some of the pundits who suggested it was hardly worth us turning up."
