Torquay United are set to re-sign winger Jake Thomson on loan for the remainder of the season after reaching verbal agreement with Southampton.Thomson recently completed a three-month loan spell with the Gulls, and was scheduled to return to Saints at the end of January.
But Southampton have confirmed they are happy for the 20-year-old to return to Plainmoor to see out the season.
The Trinidad & Tobago international has also been on loan at Bournemouth.
