Tessem spat heats up

Jo Tessem is upset again at the limited number of first team opportunities he's been getting. This is far from the first time this has come up. Upon Strachan's arrival Jo has been a bit part player for the Saints. Jo's contract talks were put on hold for a while under the new boss. Strachan clearly wishes to use Tessem, but only under certain circumstances and he's clearly not one of the first eleven. Strachan had been impresses by Tessem's attitude and a new contract was signed. Then Strachan saind that the change in Jo was due to Tessem's lifestyle changes. This confused Jo no end as he hadn't changed anything and he got a bit miffed with the whole thing, probably thinking that Strachan has mistaken him for Kevin Davies. All Jo wants is first team football and the way things stand he'll probably have to leave to get it. Jo's certainly coming round to this way of thinking too. The Norwegian international said:

"I will have serious discussions with Strachan in the summer. If he doesn't want me in the club any more then it will be an open-and-shut case. But I want to be told by him if I am not to be involved in his future plans. I don't think I have been treated fairly by the club, and I think that I get too little playing time. The situation is very frustrating as I think I do well in training and in the games that I play."

"The only thing I want to do is play football. As it is now, I am not even allowed to play in the reserves for the club by the boss."
