Southampton predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace - Premier League

Southampton will be looking to chase down the teams in the Premier League top half by beating Crystal Palace at St Mary's on Saturday.

You never know what you are going to get with Saints and that was typified in their last game. 2-0 down against Brighton at the break, a stunning brace from James Ward-Prowse saw them come back to secure a draw.

Here is the starting lineup that Ralph Hasenhuttl is most likely to select for the visit of the Eagles...

Fraser Forster (GK) - Alex McCarthy is ready to return to action but it would be unbelievably harsh on Forster if he lost his place considering his recent form.

Kyle Walker-Peters (RB) - Tino Livramento's injury means Walker-Peters will likely be shifted to his more natural side against the Eagles.

Mohammed Salisu (CB) - Has looked shaky after an imperious few months at the start of the season. Jack Stephens and Lyanco are waiting in the wings if he does not improve.

Jan Bednarek (CB) - A real threat from set pieces, the centre-back has scored more goals (4) than big summer signing Adam Armstrong this season (2).

Romain Perraud (LB) - Walker-Peters' shift over the right opens up the left-back spot for another start-of-the-season arrival.

Oriol Romeu (CM) - Has only missed two Premier League games this campaign. Unlikely to make it three here.

James Ward-Prowse (CM) - Comes into this game off the back of netting two superb goals against Brighton – his eighth and ninth of the season.

Nathan Redmond (AM) - No player has really made this second attacking midfield spot their own this season. Redmond is the latest in a rotating cast that seems to be preferred at present.

Stuart Armstrong (AM) - Armstrong is a manager's dream, and is extremely efficient on the ball.

Che Adams (ST) - Has improved a significant amount this season but he will want to push for double-figure goals. He currently has seven.

Armando Broja (ST) - Hasn't scored for some time and was even dropped against Brighton. Has a point to prove here.
