Saints Snapshots- Blackburn

Last updated : 10 November 2002 By Christian Kelly

Since I've added most of the comments I wanted to make in the match report, and I'm too gutted by that last minute goal to add more, it's basically the pics this week.

In summary:
Niemi: Had very little to do against a feeble Blackburn attack.
Dodd: In his twilight, but still a good, solid full back.
Bridge: Back to those great attacking runs.
M. Svensson: Getting better and better every game. Looked solid against Blackburn.
Lundekvam: Immense as always.
Marsden: Tireless dynamo. Did well getting forward and in covering Bridge.
Oakley: An abcense from the team has made him utilise all that talent, finally.
A. Svensson: Becoming an all round midfielder at the expense of his more creative instincts. Got us the penalty though.
Fernandes: Turns Saints into an attacking force every time he has the ball.
Beattie: Looks more versatile with more creative midfielders around him.
Ormerod: Gives 100% and is always a threat to defenders.

And now to the pictures...
