Midfielder Lallana limped out of the action with a groin problem and teenage winger Chamberlain turned an ankle at The Valley.
But boss Nigel Adkins is hopeful the key duo will recover over the international break and be fit for the promotion run-in.
"We've lost two players who are excellent for us, but we have a 10-day break before we play again because the Plymouth game was postponed due to the international break," said Adkins.
"We'll assess them further and see where they stand. Hopefully they will recover sufficiently in that time."
