Having suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the champions earlier in the season, Saints are justifiably up for some revenge.
Saints were abysmal in that game and the team will be looking to show exactly what they are capable of. "The confidence has been getting high because we've been playing well," said Wayne Bridge. "People underestimate us.
"We're looking for revenge. We played poorly up there", said Wayne Bridge who is just one of many Saints players showing top form at the moment.
Confidence is high as Saints climbed to twelfth in the table after the win against Liverpool. Jason Dodd said: "Sunday's game against Manchester United is a massive one. You don't get much bigger than them, but we're playing with confidence so I say bring on United!"
"We have shown that by working hard we can get results. The pleasing thing is that we all know we got off to such a disappointing start to the season, we have had to play catch-up, but we are playing well and have got up to 12th place."
"We can't get carried away, but the feeling in the dressing room right now is great."
