Saints draw Spurs in the cup

With the exception of Portsmouth, there are few clubs that Saints would like to thump more than Tottenham. To draw them at home, where we're unbeaten this year, will be a great opportunity to get a win, put them out of the cup and to show Hoddle how wrong he was.

Saints have come a long way under Gordon Strachan and Saints are goinginto the Christmas period seventh in the table and full of the self belief that we can beat anyone.

Spurs have also had a good start to the season although they have suffered from a number of injuries. Traditionally seen as a cup side, they will be expecting a victory, while Hoddle will be wanting to prove that he is with the "bigger club".

The tie will be played on either the 4th or 5th of January and you can expect a sell out.
