Saints can't lose with Newcastle draw

With our squad in transition (and how!), we are a long way from winning the FA Cup and Saints were looking for a lower league team at home or a big money tie away.

We got that with an away draw at Newcastle's fifty thousand plus St. James' Park. It is also hoped that the game will attract the BBC cameras, although judging by Saturday night's 15 seconds of action on Match of the Day, we can't be too optimistic.

With boss Graham Souness under pressure and with an injury list Saints would be proud of, Saints can go there with nothing to lose and try and sneak a win with the pressure off.

Certainly Burley admitted that he got what he wanted out of the draw: "We were looking for Premiership opposition - which we have got. It will be a tough tie but a good one."
