Ripley Returns

Stuart Ripley has returned to Southampton after training with them last week. The right winger wasn't taken on loan as United boss Neil Warnock has "other irons in the fire" and didn't want to use up all of his loan spots. Warnock added: "The Stuart Ripley situation has been put on hold at the minute. At the moment we've got that many ifs and buts with lads out and suspended that we've got to be careful with the situation. I know what Stuart's capable of and I know what I'm getting, but I've had to put things on hold for a while."
