No run of the Mills

With three games in a short space of time and Darren Powell suspended for three games, Matthew Mills had a good opportunity to fight his way into the Saints line-up. Also with Claus Lundekvam and Michael Svensson returning from injury, he looked set for at least a regular place on the bench and possibly a start and will be frustrated by the timing of the injury.

Instead it may well be his England U20 colleague Martin Cranie who steps up. Cranie has been a regular on the bench this season and offers cover for Tomasz Hajto at right-back, if the big Pole is injured or is moved inside to centre back.
