Joyce said: "He was caught just below his right knee but there does not appear to be any serious damage but we will know more when we look at him tomorrow.
"He will either wake up sore but with full movement or else it will have swollen up and restrict him.
"He does not need a scan at the moment. The orthopaedic surgeon was at the game and has had a look and it appears to be just bruising. It is too early to say about Wednesday but hopefully it is not too bad."
