This week sees the Saints legend caddy his close friend Richard Bland at the Scottish Open as Bland makes a bid to to reach the British Open.
Matt was in his typically humorous, modest mood as he commented on his appearance as a caddy. Matt said: "I take my caddying job as seriously as the next guy. It's something I've always wanted to do.
Tiss added "I can speak my mind and not have to worry about referees. Richard and I seem to work well together as a team. He's been in good form lately and I think we've got a real chance of making the Open. I'd love to get the chance to rub shoulders with the likes of Tiger Woods."
If Woods is any fan of football, he'll be asking for Le Tissier's autograph. As for taking his eight handicap professional in the future, Tiss said, "I'd never want to do that. It sounds too much like hard work."
