After a faltering start, Nigel Adkins` team have recently moved into the top six, and Lallana insists Saints need to keep up their current run of form to cement their place in the play-offs.
He told the club's official website: "We've got a big period coming up. It's hard getting into the top six but it's even harder staying there, so we've just got to keep taking it game by game.
"We could go on a great cup run but it's the league for that we're concentrating on and getting into the Championship again.
"I just want to keep doing what I do week-in, week-out at Southampton. My main goal is to get promotion with the Saints."
