It's Wolves in the Quarter Finals !

Southampton have avoided Premiership opposition in the quarter finals of the FA Cup. They will face first division Wolves on the weekend of the 8th/9th March.

Wolves are managed by Dave Jones, who was dismissed as Saints boss somewhat controversially. Since then, he saw his Wolves side storm up the first division, only to throw away points towards the end and get dumped out of the play offs by Norwich.

This season, Wolves have had a much slower start but are gaining ground on the play off places, sitting in eighth place.

They had a hard time knocking Rochdale out in the last round and won't savour a visit to the Saints, who have already knocked out Millwall and Norwich, who are also going for play off places in the first division.

Saints have won their last three home games against Wolves and are unbeaten in six. Although Wolves have some very good players, such as veterans Irwin and Ince and striker Kenny Miller, Saints must be strong favourites to go through to the semis.
