"It was a terrific performance. They worked their socks off and played some good stuff," he said after the game.
"I can't ask for more than what they did today. We need to be playing with that sort of enthusiasm all the time and if we do that we'll be okay.
"Prutton got forward well and bossed the game in the middle. Crouch is a handful and he's got a lot of ability - more than people give him credit for. He did a great job for us today and was a real handful for them."
