Skipper Dean Hammond returns to the Southampton squad for the trip to Notts County. The midfielder missed last weekend's 2-1 win against Oldham through suspension after collecting five yellow cards this season. Teenager Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is in contention to start after climbing off the bench to hit a superb winner last Saturday. Frazer Richardson (shoulder) and Paul Wotton (back) were also among the substitutes after spells on the sidelines and will be involved again. Striker David Connolly is still missing with a stomach injury but boss Nigel Adkins has an otherwise full-strength squad to choose from. Saints have won four of their last six games and now lie just two points off the play-off places.
