Davies knows a bit about Millwall

Davies spent two months at the New Den towards the end of last year, returning to St. Mary's because the London club couldn't afford to keep him any longer.

And now, Davies is back in contention for a starting place in the cup tie with the Lions after Agustin Delgado picked up a knee injury playing for Saints' reserves on Tuesday.

"It will be a physical game. I think they'll try and battle us and put us off our game, but I think our quality will show through in the end," said Davies.

"I think they will probably come for a draw and get us back to their place. They will be physical but if we play well then we should have too much for them.

"There certainly won't be any complacency on our part and we will treat this as a normal game because they have some good players.

"Everyone knows about Steve Claridge but their Eire international Steve Reid is probably their danger player.

"We just have to get at them and play like we have been doing and we should be OK."
