Meet the Opposition - Norwich

Have your away fans recovered from our last encounter? St. Mary's has never seen or heard anything like it.

Simple answer is no. I know of one fan who wasn't going to go to St Mary's
this weekend but has changed his mind in an attempt to get last season's
game out of his system.

(Editor - after conceding so many last minute goals, Saints fans will know how they feel. To be honest, I don't think I've recovered from the roar that went around St. Mary's not just after the goal, but in the final few minutes)

Where do you think you'll finish in the League this year?

Should be top three but the signs haven't been too promising so far.

Where do you think Saints will finish in the League this year?

Again, should be challenging and will probably get a play-off place.

Rupert Lowe keeps saying our catering is the best in the league. What would Delia have to say about that?

She'd probably have a chuckle at it. If I had a choice of a Delia meal or a
Rupert Lowe meal, I know which one I'd plump for.

(Editor - quite. Let's hope Rupert doesn't try to match her skills with the microphone)

That Dean Ashton can play a bit. Any chance he'll be off come the transfer window?

Doubt it. He genuinely is very happy here and will be able to pretty much
pick his next move - he won't be forced into joining someone like Pompey
just to get back into the Premiership.

(Editor - talk about playing to the gallery, but we like it!)

Young player to watch out for?

Centre back Jason Shackell. Big and strong and a decent left foot.

Which Saints players would you like in your team?

I think a lot of Norwich fans would welcome back Darren Kenton - he was
quality when at the top of his game.

(Editor - a straight swap for Ashton then?)

I don't even know why I'm asking this, but which team do you most want to beat this season and why?!

Umm. Err. I reckon Ipswich just about come out on top - another double over
them would be sweet. Norwich fans also can't stand Wolves so they'd be
second on the list.

And finally, your prediction for Saturday?

Probably another 1-1 draw.

(Editor - after my return to prediction form last Saturday, I'm going for a 3-2 thriller)
