Svensson to take it easy

Saints will have a hard enough start to the season without having their intenational players tired out. To resolve this problem Stuart Gray has tried to make sure that if they have to play, his stars only take part in osme of the game. Swedish international, Anders Svensson said: "My coach asked if there was a possibility that I could be excused from the Sweden friendly. I understand his concerns, but the national team is very important to me. But I won't play for 90 minutes against South Africa."

Anders has looked very impressive in pre-season and Saints fans are looking forward to seeing him surprise a lot of clubs.
