Once again we have a new third kit. Once again it's presence is motivated by sheer greed.

Saints offered their fans the choice of 5 strips for the 2001/02 before the whole poll thing developed into a farce and they selected the one they were always going to anyway.

For no other reason than sheer greed, the club thought it would be a good idea to have a third kit for the seasons 2000/01 and 2001/02. Thankfully it's ugliness should have stopped too many people parting with their cash.
