FootyMAD >  Saints Mad >  Saints Latest >  The Lowe Down
It's been an interesting summer as far as Saints signings go as Paul Sturrock looks to strengthen the first team rather than bring in "ones for the future." But it looks as though Rupert Lowe is quite content with the squad as it stands, barring any really irrestiable offer.
I know, you want to hear Rupes talk about how the new TV deal will impact on the Saints. You're gagging to hear about how tricky the spending of the Bridge money really was to get the best deals. Hell, you'd settle for him taking a few pot shots at the Echo. Tough.
Gordon Strachan has been at the club just over a year now. With an eleventh place finish, after a dismal start under Stuart Gray last year, and an excellent start this term there can't be too many criticisms. Rupert Lowe certainly can't seem to find any.
Saints chairman, Rupert Lowe says it's much too early to panic after Saints slow start to the season.
Yet again, Chairman Rupert Lowe is the voice of sanity as the top clubs look to impose their will over the rest of the footballing world, just to suit their pockets and ambitions.
Rupert Lowe seems to spend an inordinate amount of his time having to fend off one transfer rumour after another. Of course, that's his fault for not hiring a media spokesman for the club, but I do still have a little sympathy for him.
Rupert Lowe wasn't keen to adopt transfer windows before they were imposed by FIFA. Unfortunately many other Premiership chairmen were only too eager to please and they could be in place for next season.
Rupert speaks about his ambitions for the club and what kind of proce range our new recruits will be in.
